Lesson 2 of 4

The 25-minute block

Your brain can’t focus for hours, and trying to is why studying feels miserable. Work in short, hard blocks instead — same as interval training.

  1. 1Pick ONE thing to work on. Phone in another room (not face-down on the desk — another room).
  2. 2Set a timer for 25 minutes and go all-in on just that one thing.
  3. 3Take a real 5-minute break — stand, water, breathe.
  4. 4Repeat. Two or three blocks gets more done than a miserable two-hour “session.”

The bottom line

Focus is a sprint, not a marathon. Short hard blocks with real rest beats long fuzzy hours.
