Lesson 1 of 7
What getting recruited actually means
Getting recruited isn’t one magic moment where a coach “discovers” you. It’s a process you run — on a timeline, with a profile, and with proof. Coaches are looking at four things, roughly in this order: your film, your verified measurables, your grades/eligibility, and your character. Notice that two of those four happen in the classroom and in how you carry yourself — not on the field.
The bottom line
Recruiting is something you DO, not something that happens to you. The kids who get recruited are the ones who run the process on purpose, early.
Coach Fite
Nobody “found” me. Coaches found a kid who put up numbers, kept his nose clean, and had people who’d vouch for him. You build that on purpose. Luck is just preparation somebody noticed.
